You won't need Jerm's Blog
for some stuff in mine to make sense anymore, but here it is.

I am also linking to 3M, because he seems to know what he's talking about.

Alex told me that he can't sleep at night because his blog isn't listed here. Sleep easy.

Here's the blog of your friendly neighbourhood freak. Sieg Heil.

The P-Man gets a link here for having great taste in music. Also, you should read it if you want to get jokes about him using big words on his blog.

Our edge

Have AG and I lost our hating edge? We're not sure, but we have the feeling that might be the case. We're going to make some time to go out hating to see how washed up we are. We can probably still pull our weight, but we need to be sure.

In other news, it's difficult to type because I slashed up my right hand while climbing a barbed fence. If you haven't figured out how that happened yet I won't explain it to you.

Man, I love Jim Rome. I've got his show on right now, and he's chopping some guy who maimed the national anthem. Hey, he's got a cameo bit in The Longest Yard. It seems Adam Sandler got him the bit.

If you didn't know, he is actually my hero. Like, in an Alec-Hulk Hogan way, only less so.
Too bad you don't listen to his show, it was cracking me up just now.

Hum, an update, eh? Well, AG is out of school because of a strike. Oh, there he is now. I guess I'd better book it.

Anyways, I'll tell you if we did indeed lose our edge.

The rest

Sorry, the other realizations I came across were:

Contact lenses are more trouble than you'd think.

There is a real star called Betelgeuse.

Franz is actually really smart.

Dave Chappelle was already pretty crazy in the first and second seasons of his show, though he is actually a great actor.

In his CD that had songs on MTV Sean Paul badmouths Babilan. Whatever, he didn't fall off.

My shotglass has been a 2.5 oz. glass all this time.

Though not in a literal sense. I guess.

As it turns out, I'm a crackpot.

Aliens, oldness, metal thing and us

First of all, I had this awesome dream in which me and about 20 people were abducted by aliens, only I was kung-fu awesome and fronted on said aliens. It's honestly right up there for coolest dream I've ever had.

Secondly, my great aunt died. That normally wouldn't be much worth noting, but she was 104 or 105 or something really old like that. Also, I think there is somewhat of a windfall coming our way, but I'm not sure.

Thirdly, sure, you can hate on D&D minis and my supposed addiction to them, but I think you'll have to admit that this thing looks cool:

The future of space-looking cat things is now

See, awesome.

Also, if you missed Trailer Park Boys last night, I've got a quote that I liked:

Mr. Lahey: "We have reports of people getting high and drunk and playing space."
Ricky: "Yeah, us."

Time you recognize it

Contrary to what that one comment may have implied, Legalize It by Sean Paul is a great song.
I'm still looking for a job, though I'm really not looking as hard as I could be. I imagine I'll be regretting this in the future, but I'll deal with it when I have to.

I had probably the most intense D&D battle I've seen against the party the other day. I won't really go into details, but I think it bodes well for the rest of the summer.

Okay, so what HAVE I been up to?

A few days of dropping off resumes, none of which has turned anything up yet. I've been reading a lot since I got off too. I want to read Three Kingdoms again too. It's been almost a year. What I really need is my own version.

Obviously I've been spending time with AG, but that goes without saying.

Oh, I'm old enough to drink now, so I'm taking to that. Well, not as in "He took to drink after he lost his job", but the novelty is still there. I found a drink called a Bulldog! It's tasty enough, but it's not very strong. I think I'm going to improve upon it and mix it in the crunk tank. I'll include the recipe for the original at the end of this entry.

Myself and the Ottawa Bulldoggz are planning the overthrow of The Hater. It will be a good overthrowing at that, if we can get it off. I'm also planning a poetry reading by the field to mess with him. Any suggestions as to what I should read? I've got a few. Nothing ironic, but whatever.

I've also caught up with a few friends from high school. So I had to look for a missing earring one day and saw a documentary about Chinese restaurants on another. The documentary was entertaining at least, and I got to see a Chinese guy with a South African accent. Not as mind-blowing as an Irish or Jamaican one, but still up there.

Well, AG and Alec might go up to Colin's cottage next weekend, but I'm not sure. I'll have to figure out next weekend for myself if that's the case. Maybe I'll see that new Star Wars then.

For the sake of itself

As I imagined, summertime signals the dawn of me rarely writing in my blog.

Even though a lot has happened since the 29th, I don't feel as if I have much to say.

Highlights include passing out in the field, my party, the arch-hater, burnout's choice blunts and some other stuff that I don't remember.

Thus far summer has gone exactly as I imagined it would. And it's been cool. But, as I said, I don't really have anything to say that would interest anyone.

I'm actually just doing this for an update's sake.
Dynasty Warriors 5 is a good game, by the way. Also, I need to finish Jade Empire, which shouldn't take much longer. And I've had Resident Zombie 4 in my house for weeks and I still haven't played it.
I should.

Okay, bye

First Year: A Retrospective et al

It was real. I guess.

So I haven't updated in ages. That's because I've been busy getting home and all that. It also seems that, as of today, I have a little rectangle of plastic that enables me to buy liquor. I'm not sure what else it lets me do and I also don't care.

Hum... well, I saw Kung Fu Hustle on the big screen. That was I think my 6th time seeing it, but it was still awesome.

So yeah, I'll try to update this summer. A few notes though.

Simcoe, if you read this holla back at me.

Also, I'm going to go get Siamese Dream on vinyl today; it turns out Pops doesn't have it.

Damn, I should have more to say. Whatever, I will later.
